We are running a recruiting campaign called “First Knock”, which gives a joining allowance of ¥500,000 to people who apply to us directly and join, without going through a recruitment agency or an employee referral.
Given the level of interest and the number of applications we have received, we have extended the application period from 31 August 2026 to 31 October 2026.

Why we are running this
Catalys is a consulting firm built around staying with clients through delivery, with the mission of becoming a catalyst for change. We are working towards a listing around 2029, and we are hiring to build the organization for it.
This campaign exists to widen the chance of meeting people who come to us directly. The name “First Knock” is about that first knock on the door of a new career, and our wish to make it easier to take.
The campaign
- Name: First Knock
- What it is: a joining allowance of ¥500,000 (tax included) for those who qualify
- Who qualifies: anyone who applies directly through our careers page or contact form, without a recruitment agency, a staffing firm or an employee referral, and who joins us after our selection process
- Roles: strategy consulting (Consultant / Senior Consultant / Director / Executive Director), and sales specialist (head of the sales team / manager)
- Period: applications received by Saturday 31 October 2026

About joining Catalys
